Got love for sale by KISS|Rhythm Guitar lesson

Here’s another one of those KISS classics – Got Love For Sale from the album Love Gun! This is a feisty track, running at 152 BPM… This video has both playback and a more detailed part on how to play this song, of course tab’s are included!

I think this is a great tune but it has seldom been played live, as a matter of fact I think it was when Gene Simmons went out on tour with his own band that it was performed live for the first time. Maybe not one of the most popular KISS tracks in general but as said I do say this is a good song!

Save Your Love by KISS|Rhythm guitar lesson w Tabs

Time for a rhythm guitar lesson of another great Ace Frehley song – Save Your Love! This song was a part of the Dynasty album, released 1979, and by many considered as the start of KISS’ decline. But the album still has some goodies and this is surely one of them!

As always (almost at least) the song is not that complicated to play but (according to me) well composed and with a lovely hard rockin’ drive to it! Lead guitar and Bass lessons will follow, so stay tuned!

Tonight You Belong to Me by Paul Stanley/KISS|Rhythm & Lead guitar lesson with Tabs

Rhythm & lead guitar lesson with tab’s for Tonight You Belong to Me by Paul Stanley of KISS. This is a video in my Let’s Play-series and a classic song from Paul Stanley’s solo album from 1978. It includes the full song when it comes to the guitar’s – acoustic intro, the rhythm guitars and the lead parts.

Well, what more to say? Paul Stanley’s solo album was released the 18th of September 1978, recorded Febuary – July 1978. It peaked at position 40 in the USA, went slightly better in Japan wehere it went to the 18:th place. But all in all the four solo albums did not sell as well as was expected. Still, in my opinion, this is a solid rock album that you can listen through from first to last track, without any skips.

If you are looking for the bass lesson for Tonight You Belong to Me, well I have done that as well in a separate video. Check out the link below! (If it’s not there, it will be soon!)

Fractured Mirror by Ace Frehley|KISS (Cover|Guitar|Bass|Tabs|Lesson)

This is a detailed lesson/turotial with tabs for both guitar and bass for Ace Frehleys Fractured Mirror. First out is my recording of the song, complete with tabs and after that I go through the track in more detail for the acoustic guitars, the electric guitars and the bass.

Well, what to say about this lesson? It was requested so here it is. I know I managed to miss that the drums should go one round before the power chords and bass comes in! This song is not that complicated but well structured, well, as are all the songs on Ace’s solo album from 1978 (if you ask me!). One thing I noted was that it goes a lot quicker to do a lesson when there isn’t one or more lead parts to perform *smile*.

So hope you’ll like the video, there is another one available without the detailed lessons, see the links below. Also have a look at the video index if you wanna jump to a specific part of the song!

Hotter Than Hell by KISS (Rhythm guitar lesson)

This video is a lesson on how to play the rhythm guitars for Hotter Than Hell by KISS. The first part of the video is a “play-along” and the second part is a more detailed lesson for those of you who feels you need that.

Hotter Than Hell was recorded during August 1974, at the Village Recorder studios in Los Angeles. The release date was October 22 1974. The band was not very happy over being in Los Angeles and it didn’t get better by the fact that Paul Stanleys Gibson Firebird (as seen on the cover of the Alive! album) was stolen. Much has been said about the sound of this album… some people love it, some hate it. I personally love it!

So, I hope you’ll have some use for this lesson and thanks for watching! If you wanna support my channel – subscription link is provided below. Mr. Speed by KISS (Rhythm & Lead lesson for guitar)

Time for the guitar parts of Mr. Speed by KISS. A great song from one of their best albums, Rock and Roll Over, if you ask me! This lesson includes rhythm and lead guitars with tabulature included. I have included both play-through and a detailed lesson for both parts, see the index below!

I have included some links below; to my Bass lesson for Mr. Speed, the original Rock and Roll Over version and then the demo version of Mr. Speed. This one is a bit interesting as Bob Kulic claimed he played on it and I have no reason to doubt that – it’s certainly not Ace playing! But I do find it interesting as Bob always seems a bit condescending when talking about Ace… Sure, he was a technically more proficient guitarist than Ace, but on this occassion I must say Ace crushed the demo versions solo’s and fill-ins. Well, that is just my opinion.

Thanks for watching and you had some use for this lesson! If you wanna support my channel, use the link provided below to subscribe! An endless cosmic Thank You to all you who do sub, very much appreciated!!

Black Diamond by KISS (Bass lesson & End solo lesson)

Black Diamond by KISS (Bass lesson & End solo lesson)

This is part two of my lesson for KISS Black Diamond, this time with the bass and the end lead part. For the first video check out the links below (rhythm guitar and the first lead). The Black Diamond backing track featured in this video is recorded by me (I might put that up as a separate video later on!).

I wanna point out I miss a very small part of the lead towards the end but if you follow the TAB’s on-screen you’ll figure it out – I play it as it should be in the backing track. Also don’t forget to check out KISS live on the Destroyer tour, link provided below…

Black Diamond by KISS (Guitar lesson, lead & rhythm)

A diamond in the rough? Not really, I believe that Black Diamond is a very well known song … at least amongst KISS fans. It’s a classic hard rockin’ song from the band’s first self-titled album that was released in 1974.

So this lesson contain how to play the rhythm and lead guitar… that is the first lead, as the song has two. Due to lack of time I had to split this into two videos and the next one will of course be the bass and lead 2 lessons. Plus my version of the tune without vocals and leads for those who practise or just use it for fun.

So KISS was rockin in the 70’s and so could you be, if you subscribe to my channel! Thanks for watching and a Big Fat Thanks to all you subscribing, t-t-t-thanks!

Great Expectations by KISS (Lesson for guitar & bass)

Lessons by Have Guitar!

Time for a lesson on how to play Great Expectations by KISS. Both guitar and bass! Not overly comlicated but what a great song, if you ask me… this track comes from Destroyer and was released in 1976. As it happends it was the first rock album that I got my hands on and after that there was no turning back, whatever the current trends says (grin).

Some people might say that Destroyer was ‘over-produced’ but I think the sound of that album is fantastic, it kinda captures the image of KISS – especially in the new costumes they got for that album. From what I know the song has only been performed live once and that was during the recording of ‘Symphony Alive IV’, understandable as it kinda feels a bit empty when scaled down to just guitars, bass and drums.

Anyways, I hope you liked the lesson and maybe even had some use of it… if you wanna support Have Guitar – subscribe, see the link below. Big appreciation goes out to all of You who do subscribe, Thanks!!!
