Dr. D MiniStomp by Harley Benton|Pedal review & demo

Time for another pedal frenzy and let’s continue with the Harley Benton MiniStomp series – Dr. D! This is a mellow overdrive that should sound like the famous Dumble amps, well, let’s keep that anticipation level low now.

Not that it sounds bad but I always doubt it when a pedal is said to emulate a very expensive rare amp. Heck, I’m dubious even if it’s supposed to emulate a cheap common amplifier!! So let’s put that aside and just have a listen to how it sounds – good in my humble opinion.

Also to add, seems these inexpensive pedals are selling like crazy over at Thomann. This pedal is currently not available, among many others of the ministomp series. But I’m guessing it will be again in the future.

100.000 Years by KISS|Lead/Ace guitar lesson w Tabs

Here’s the second lesson for one of those good ol’ KISS songs – 100,000 years. This one is from the their first self titled album and a good one, if you ask me!

This video is based on Ace Frehleys guitar parts in the song. There will be one more video lesson for the bass parts. Well, lead is kinda misleading as Ace is playing both rhythm (partly different from Paul) and lead but yeah, I guess you know what I’m talking about!
