Fuchs ODS SLX by Pete’s Profiles (Kemper profiles demo)

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar

A new Rig Showcase and this time it’s time for Pete’s Profiles Fuchs ODS SLX! This is a fairly big pack with 60 Kemper profiles that recreates the sound from a Fuchs ODS SLX Concert 75. About the amp itself I don’t know much but the profiles sure sound good. The range from crisp breaking up to almost fat fuzz style tones. No lack of variation here!

Seems to me the Fuchs amps are considered ’boutique’ – which most likely means they are handmade and quite expensive. So what, isn’t the perfect tone worth it? Yes, it is. Anyways, this pack give you an opportunity to try out an amp that you not even see at your local music store and that is a great thing. Well, you know, might not be the real deal but as close as it currently gets.

Thanks for watching Have Guitar – hope you like this demo! A subscription to the channel will be most appreciated. To you who subscribe – Thank You!!!

Black Box MKII by Riot (power supply test / review)

Test / Review by Have Guitar

Need a power supply for your pedals? Short on money? Then the Riot Black Box MKII might be something for you. I got tired of my bulky adaptors that takes up more than one space in the power strip so I went to the local music store to see what they could offer. I had planned to spend some more money but then I got greedy and thought I could try this one out.

Seems like this model is quite new and there is not much info to get about it. Heard a rumour that it might be Harley-Benton who’s making these but that is nothing but a rumour so far. It is made in china and the build of the unit seems more than descent for the price. Metal casing and 10 outs for less than 60 Euros? Great. Have a look at the video for my ‘verdict’.

I certainly hope you will like this video and please do support Have Guitar with your subscription if you do. Just wanna scream Thank You to all you who do subscribe, appreciate it!

Dark Matter by TC Electronics (Distortion pedal test / review)

Dark Matter by TC Electronics (Distortion pedal test / review)
Pedal Frenzy by Have Guitar

Here’s another Pedal Frenzy where I take a look at TC Electronics Dark Matter, a distortion pedal for electric guitar. So, I didn’t really know much about this stomp when I ordered it from Thomann. I know the brand TC Electronics, since the mid 80’s but back then my impression was that it was a high-end quite expensive brand. Or was it me being poorer back then? I don’t really know but this pedal is not expensive!

I can say already that I was pleased by the sounds this pedal can pull off, the sound certainly is not cheap. So in this video I test it out with a bunch different Kemper profiles, trying to cover a wide range of amp styles and sounds to see how the Dark Matter affects the sound.

Yeah, it’s an epic video – considering it’s lenght! Is that a bad thing? I don’t know, I just prefer content over 2 minute videos. But… for your pleasure I have put in an index to the video below so you can jump to the part you wanna see.

Index:
02:09 – Live Ready Sound Tweed profile, low gain to crunch (gain 2/10)
06:33 – ReamZone Framus Dragon profile, clean sound with some delay (gain 0/10)
11:59 – BM Profiles Friedman BE 100 profile, quite high gain (gain 6/10)
16:04 – Pete’s Profiles Wizard profile, crunch sound (gain 3/10)
20:09 – ToneJunkie Matchless profile, clean sound (gain 0/10)
25:37 – Conclusion along with some rambling

Hey! I hope liked this video and if so please do subscribe! Doesn’t cost you a dime but gives me the support I need to carry on this craziness… As always a Very Big Thanks to all you who do sub – it’s just fantastic!

Guitar pedals – Unboxing (Behringer FX600, TCE Forcefield & Lunastone Trueoverdrive1)

Guitar pedals – Unboxing (Behringer FX600, TCE Forcefield & Lunastone Trueoverdrive1)
A video by Have Guitar

Time for an unboxing video! Three new pedals to add to the pedal board… or shelf. Let’s be straight and clear now: no playing occurs in this video, it is only the unboxing! OK?! The playing will be coming in later review/test videos…

So, the pedals are a Behringer FX600 to start with. That’s a digital stereo multi-effects pedal that offers delay, phaser, flanger, chorus, tremolo and pitch shifter in one stomp! Then we have the TC Electronics Forcefield compressor, the largest pedal in the stomp format I have seen for a long time! And then there’s the Lunastone Trueoverdrive 1, a drive that promise a lot so let’s see if that holds for true in a later video.

There you go, that is it! Well, also sorry if the close up are a bit blurred, I’m still learning the action cam and I might have gone a bit too close for those close-ups! Anyways, hope you liked the video! Thanks to all my subscribers – you’re the best!
