Martian 2000 by Live Ready Sound (Kemper profiles demo)

Time to test out a new profile pack from Live Ready Sound – Martian 2000! This pack recreates the sound from a Marshall DSL100 JCM2000 and yes, it keeps the usual high standards we’re used to see from Live Ready Sound!

The first version of this pack comes with 57 studio profiles and 11 direct profiles, created with a bunch of different mic’s and speakers… check out the link below for more information on this profile pack.

The Marshall JCM2000 seems to be well regarded by guitarists by looking at the discussions online. Judging from these profiles, well I can just concure – it sure sounds sweet to me!

Hope you enjoyed the video – feel free to support my channel with a subscription if you did! (Sub-link provided below…) Forever and ever a Big Thanks to all of you who do subscribe!!

Flux-Drive by Mesa Boogie (Pedal review / test / demo)

Review by Have Guitar!

The Mesa Flux-Drive is the overdrive pedal for those who want more of all the best things from an overdrive, according to Mesa themselves. Is that so? The Cambridge dictionary states that the word “flux” means “continous change”. Well, that makes no sence what so ever…

As an overdrive the Flux-Drive surely makes the job you’d expect from an overdrive, it really helps shaping what you already got soundwise rather than recreating the tone. The bass and treble controls gives you additional control over the sound, which is always welcome. These EQ controls are just set enough according to me, they will change the sound but not drastically so.

Also I must add that some of the sound demos in the video actually sounds better now, when listening to the video than what I felt about them whilst playing. The Flux-Drive was nice pedal to try out but for me personally – it is not a pedal that I will buy in the future (the pedal in the video was borrowed).

Blues Driver BD-2 by BOSS (pedal review / test)

Pedal Frenzy by Have Guitar!

It is not new but it’s a classic – the BOSS Blues Driver BD-2. A well placed product that came out around the time of the ‘blues boom’ of the mid 90’s. It’s an overdrive for the blues players and many others…

There’s really not much more to say, watch the video – I hope you’ll like it! If you do, support me with a subscription!

Rendell Diawlo RD45 by Deadlight Studios (Kemper profiles demo)

So here’s the Rendell Diawlo RD45 Kemper profile pack from Deadlight Studios! The pack isn’t that big but compensates in gain levels… you could say that without lying.

Of course this pack is recreating the sound from a Randall Diavlo RD45. They describe the amp as being all about gain and tone and that fits pretty well with these nice profiles!

This profile pack gives you 16 profiles, all channels and gain stages covered. Internal and external boost and even unboosted. What more could you ask for?

VX Cracken by Peter’s Crazy Profiles (Kemper profiles demo)

This is a demo of the VX Kraken from Peter’s Crazy Profile! Note that this amp/these profiles are just one part of Peter’s Kemper Profiles Mega Pack!! The Mega Pack has over 600 profiles and performances and cab – you get the whole pack for less than $10!!!

These profiles recreates the sound from a Victory VX Kraken amplifier. This is a no bull metal amp that has two channels – gain and more gain. Isn’t that just beautiful? Victory Amps describes the amp as “A 50-watt box of glorious gain for hard rock, metal, extended-range and progressive players”. For more info on the actual amp, check out the links below.

I know a lot of people has been asking for a good pack profiles that recreates the Kraken and this might be it for you. I also know the character of the amp is hard to capture with the Kemper – I haven’t played a real Kraken but this sure sounds good to me.

WZRD Pack by Selah Sounds (Kemper profiles demo)

WZRD Pack by Selah Sounds (Kemper profiles demo)

It’s been a long while since I featured any profiles from Selah Sounds but this is their WZRD Pack for the Kemper Profiling Amp! These profiles seeks to recreate the sound of a Wizard Wizard Modern Classic II amplifier.

The Wizard amps are handmade in Canada and used by artists like Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) and Lynyrd Skynyrd. According to Selah Sound this is amp reminds about a Marshall but “more percussive than compressed”. The amp features two channel, one is clean and the other one is of course lead/gain. The tone of these profiles are organic and warm, very nice to play to put it simply!

Read more about Wizard amps at the link below or if you fancy the profiles; follow the link to Selah Sounds webshop.

Yngwie Malmsteen Overdrive by Fender (pedal review/demo)

Yngwie Malmsteen Overdrive by Fender (pedal review/demo)

This video is a review / demo of the Fender Yngwie Malmsteen overdrived pedal. I suppose everyone knows who Yngwie is, a guitarist who was part of creating what became called “neoclassic metal” and he has had a huge influence on guitar players all over the world. So… this is his signature overdrive pedal!

Now I say it in the video and I’ll repeat it here; don’t expect me playing anything like Yngwie in this video! I’m not that kind of guitarist and frankly I don’t wanna be (said without bashing the man himself in any way!).

As for the pedal it-self – it has true bypass, metal casing, can be run with a 9-volt-battery or external power supply. It has only two controls – volume and gain. I know some people consider this the best overdrive out there, everyones taste is different! Me, I like it, but it is not my favourite overdrive pedal. Let me know in the comments what You think about it!!

Marshall Valvestate 8100 by ReampZone (Kemper profiles demo)

This is a demo of the Marshall Valvestate 8100 Kemper profile pack from ReampZone! It is… solid state! Some people dislike that, some people love it. Who are you?

So this pack is said to be perfect for death metal and it’s a nest of angry tones! I’m no DM-guitarist but never the less I had good fun doing this demo. There are some clean and close to clean profiles here but it is mainly about nasty evilness of course. Not sure my playing gives this pack the justice it deserves, but hey, I do what I can right?!

The pack comes with both Studio and Direct profiles and a good variety in the tones. Some profiles are boosted with some great pedals as well. If you like it, follow the link below and buy it!

Unchained by Live Ready Sound (Kemper profiles demo)

Time for a closeup demo of the Unchained Kemper profile pack from Live Ready Sound! These profiles recreates the sound from a Metropoulos DVL-1 amp head and in my ears, this is the way it should sound!!

The Metropoulos DVL-1 is in fact the signature model of William DuVall (Alice in Chains) and the vision was to “build the ultimate plexi-style 100-watt amplifier with maximum flexibility and functionality and zero compromise in components, signal purity, and tone.”. The amplifier features four modes :

’65 Mode – “maximum R&B” tones of 1965-era Pete Townshend up to the full-throated JTM-45 growl of AC/DC’s Angus Young
’66 Mode – heavier blues-rock tones of Cream and The Jimi Hendrix Experience
’68 Mode – inspired by the 1968 Marshall plexi amp used by Edward Van Halen
Mod Mode – Think Metallica or Alice in Chains. Mod Mode offers maximum heaviness but with a clarity, musicality, and harmonic richness

The descriptions above directly qouted from Metropoulus webpage for this amp. Link provided below if you wanna check out more information about this fantastic amp!

Hope you liked this demo, buy the pack if you wanna support Live Ready Sound – subscribe to my channel if you wanna support me! Thanks to all the subscribers, you’re the best!

Vibe Queen by ToneJunkie (Kemper profiles demo)

Here’s a demo of the Vibe Queen Kemper profile pack from ToneJunkie! This profile pack recreates the sound from a Fender Vibro King amplifier and it contains both studio and direct profiles for your Kemper Profiling Amp.

As always with profiles from ToneJunkie you can expect some well profiled sounds from an amp that is quite capable. You won’t get any chuggy metal here but there’s dirty driven tones included of course! If you wanna get into the more heavy side of life you’ll need to drive it up with an overdrive or similar. I should mention that some of the profiles are boosted with a Klone overdrive pedal.

I do hope you will like this demo, I tried making an overview of what this pack has to offer. If you wanna support my channel a subscription is of course more than welcome… (see the link below!). A Big Thanks to all you who subscribe already!!
