A new Rig Showcase and this time it’s time for Pete’s Profiles Fuchs ODS SLX! This is a fairly big pack with 60 Kemper profiles that recreates the sound from a Fuchs ODS SLX Concert 75. About the amp itself I don’t know much but the profiles sure sound good. The range from crisp breaking up to almost fat fuzz style tones. No lack of variation here!
Seems to me the Fuchs amps are considered ’boutique’ – which most likely means they are handmade and quite expensive. So what, isn’t the perfect tone worth it? Yes, it is. Anyways, this pack give you an opportunity to try out an amp that you not even see at your local music store and that is a great thing. Well, you know, might not be the real deal but as close as it currently gets.
Thanks for watching Have Guitar – hope you like this demo! A subscription to the channel will be most appreciated. To you who subscribe – Thank You!!!

Guitar signal line (unless other noted) is Kemper – SPDIF – Focusrite Saffire 6i6 2nd gen – USB -Computer/Reaper.
How about this… each month for a small fee, you get a pack of profiles for your Kemper delivered in your email. Like christmas every month and screw you Santa! Well, that is a possibility if you sign up for ToneCrate. This months pack has been developed together with the guitarist Rob Alvarez from Upon A Burning Body. Ain’t that awesome!
So this pack is mainly moving in the upper gain regions save one profile. I like that. You might not but gain… is what the people need. It brings happiness and prosperity to the people. So lets up the gain. and unite as one nation under the flag of distortion!
Alright, I hope you like this video… likes, comments and subscriptions will be much appreciated. I take a bow and shout out a THANKS to you who are so sweet as to sub to Have Guitar. What would the channel be without you?
ToneCrate December 2018 Jamie King Pack (Kemper profiles demo)
Rig Showcase by Have Guitar
Apparently the bonus Sundays continues! This is the December 2018 pack from ToneCrate and it’s a (mostly) heavy pack created together with the guitarist Jamie King! The pack contains 25 Kemper profiles all in all, most of them are high gain stuff but there are also a couple of bass profiles and some clear to crunch profiles here.
In my ears this is a great sounding pack that contains profiles from various amps like Marshall JCM800 & 900, Peavey 5150, Ampeg SVT and more.
ToneCrate is a subscription service where you will get a new profile pack for your Kemper every month and every month a new artist is featured. Pretty much like the “LootCrates” where you get a box sent home with different trinkets every month. It’s not that expensive (and if you pay for a year it’ll be cheaper) so go have a look at ToneCrates webpage for more information. Just wanna add I didn’t find much info on Kings bands when I Googled them, so I don’t know if my search-fu is bad perhaps…

Kemper Profiling Amp
Time for another Kemper Rig Showcase and in this episode Have Guitar! takes a look at the Peavey JSX rig pack from ReampZone. Described by ReampZone as a monster of high gain, tight and fierce – designed for metal heads and that’s right but it doesn’t stop there. This amp head (or rather these profiles) will not stop at metal, it’s fully capable of dirty rock to raw blues and it does it all very well. So far this JSX pack offers 16 direct profiles and 20 studio profiles for your Kemper Profiling Amp with a promise of more profiles coming. So, in this Rig Showcase Have Guitar! will give you a bunch of sound examples, mostly lined recordings, side-by-side comparison of profiles in the same gain level and in-the-mix examples – played with a Fender Stratocaster American Standard (Shawbucker and single-coils) and an ESP Phoenix II (Seymour Duncan JB / ’59), two sound wise very different guitars to bring you a wider perspective of how these profiles actually sound.
The original amp is a signature model for Joe Satriani, designed to offer lots of sound possibilities, from vintage to modern triple XXX-style. The three channel 120W amp produces sounds from clean to heavy/hard rock, offers high gain and low gain inputs together with a “fat switch” that changes the timbre of the crunch and ultra channels. It also features a built-in noise gate for those screaming high gain sounds.
A big thanks to ReampZone for letting Have Guitar! try out/showcase these profiles – I hope you will like the video as much as I enjoyed this profile pack!
