Rig Showcase by Have Guitar

So here is the 4th Kemper Rig Showcase Special and it’s the V130 The Super Countess from Victory Amps! You know it by now, it’s official Kemper profiles from this amp manufacturer and that is worth checking out… and worth supporting.

The original amp is 100 watts (so say “Thanks Kemper for saving my hearing”!), it comes from the V30 but has some characteristics of the V40, The Sheriff 44 & VX The Kraken. Still, to me it sounds like a “nice” amp and not that mean… good base tone though.

Thanks for watching my videos – if you like it you might wanna consider subscribing to Have Guitar, your support IS appreciated! And as always a Huge Thanks to you who subscribes – you rock!

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar!

Time for the second part of this “mini series” of he Rig Showcase where I demo the official Kemper profile pack from Victory amps! It is time to have a listen to the Victory V30 The countess MKii! As I have said before I bow to Victory amps for this initiative and that they brought in Rabea Massaad – that’ll surely attract attention from players who like his style.

So, the V30 The Countess was developed with Guthrie Govan has some special feature that the original V30 did not have. Most of those are irrelevant when you are running the Kemper profile but if you want more info see the links below. Once again, these profiles are really nothing close to metal so if you’re looking for that – search elsewhere. Still the profiles has gain enough and a smooth nice character – for me most of them needed some extra tweaking to suit my preferences.

As always, thanks for watching Have Guitar – a loud shoutout to all you who support me by subscribing, Thanks!! If you don’t – feel free to support me by a sub, together we stand strong… right?

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar!

Here a new Kemper Rig Showcase – welcome! So, Victory Amps got Rebea Massaad to make them some official Kemper profiles packs, that is a stroke of genius if you ask me. This is a typical example of creative thinking that will allow you to stay in business by adopting to the changes that will occur. I’m kinda surprised noone has cracked this idea before, but I guess someone has to be first!

So, I figured I’d do a mini series that will “air” on sundays here at Have Guitar and first out is the V40 Deluxe, an amp for the “feel players” as Victory puts it. Sure is no gain monster and it’s described as “expect classic American cleans through to pushed tweedy grit and on to driven British blues-rock” which I think is about right.

In the video I mention a bit about the dark character of the profiles. After this session I hooked up my Kemper to the Boss Katana and I must say that gave a different sound. So, that is not included here but will most likely be in the coming Victory videos!
