69 Silver Lowman by ToneJunkie (Kemper profiles demo)

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar!

Here’s another fine pack from ToneJunkie’s neverending effort to profile every amp in the world: 69 Silver Lowman! These profiles aims to recreate the sound from a 1969 Fender Bassman “drip edge”. (And if you like me don’t know what “drip edge” means; it’s a silver lining around the cabinet of the amp).

So this is obviously a vintage amplifier and according to me the Fender Bassman’s are great amps. Not if you wanna do Meshugga (laughs) but I’d say they can handle most musical styles quite well. From sweet clean tone to screaming classic gain! The profile pack comes with 29 profiles; 25 studio and 4 direct’s.

Also, someone might wonder why I’m using the black Gibson SG when I’m doing the “2 guitars, 1 profile” comparision. Well, I recorded the first part with the Yellow SG before I went on vacation… so when I got back home and started recording again, 8-10 days had passed and not really thinking before acting I just picked up the black SG instead of the yellow one. Forgetful? Me?! Nah…!

That’s it – hope you like the video and support ToneJunkie and buy the pack if you like what you hear! If you wanna support me you don’t have to buy anything, just click the subscribe button. A great many thanks to all you who subscribes!!

Orange Rockerverb Ultimate Kemper Profiles by Gold Lion Audio (Kemper profiles demo)

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar!

Another ‘premier’ – the new Orange Rockerverb Ultimate Kemper Profile pack from Gold Lion Audio – yes! The Orange amps has a special sound that hits me in the right spot every time and this pack is no different.

Another good thing with this profile pack is that it comes with studio, direct and merged profiles – something for all tastes in other words! Also there has been five different cabs used while creating these profiles which gives a good variation of tones. Might add that these profiles recreates the sound from an Orange Rockerverb 100 head!

There is not much else to say than this is a great pack if you like that orange tone… personally, I love it. So thanks for watching Have Guitar and I do hope you will like this demo. Please support the channel with a subscription! To you who do already – Thanks!!!

Sonic Jet by Live Ready Sound (Kemper Profiles demo)

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar!

Would you like to try a $5000 amp for less than $30? Well, here’s your chance with Live Ready Sound sbrand new Kemper profile pack Sonic Jet! These profiles recreates the sound of a Komet Concorde amplifier, that is not something you will see every day!

Komet amps labels this amp as a “rock and roll monster” and I am inclined to agree! It has a clssic vibe to it and if I may say so these profiles offers an inspirational tone. Might be it is not an coincident that they claim this amplifier has supersonic playability!

So in some of the demos I have used a couple of pedals – LunaStone True Overdrive 1 and the Mooer Ultra Drive MKII – it’s nice to spice your dish up! And I have also given the video a Purple tint by doing some classic Deep Purple riffs. Can you spot them? Let me know in the comments! If you dont – there is a index to those riffs at the end of this description!!

Thanks for watching my channel, I appreciate it and I can just hope You like it. I am just a guitar crazed guy from Sweden, no claims to to be best in any way… But I love playing and this channel is a way for me to myself motivated to (hopefully) evolve my playing. If you support that notion – gimme a subscribtion! To you guys and girls sub’ing to my channel – Thanks! You are truly the crop of the cream!

Thunderball by Mooer – Test, review & Giveaway!

Pedal Frenzy by Have Guitar

This video is a demo/review of the Mooer Thunderball pedal – distortion and fuzz in one stomp for your bass! I got this pedal as I wanted to add some grit to my bass sound, I know Mooer has produced some excellent guitar pedals. I’m not sure but it seems this pedal is discontinued, at least I could not it find on Mooers webpage (http://www.mooeraudio.com/) but I did find it on Mooers UK-site.

So what does this effect pedal bring to the table? It’s small, not very expensive and has both distortion and fuzz built. Seemed like a great product but in my opinion it is not really up to par with the guitar pedals. But I guess it’s not a complete failure either, it depends on what kind of sound you’re after!

The sounds you can hear in this demo are a mixed source of the Trace Elliot being lined (XLR > Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 2nd sound card) and the Fender Rumble 115 cabinet mic’ed with a Shure SM57. (Unless otherwise stated on-screen!) I found this being the best way to capture what it actually sounds like.

GIVEAWAY!
As said in the video – you could win this pedal! There are no hidden hooks here, all you need to do is to follow my instructions in the video and you have the chance of winning the Mooer Thunderball pedal! (The instructions are NOT to go to some sketchy website, it’s just what you should write to me in an email!) The exspence is on me and the only reservation is that I will not take any responsibility after the pedal has been posted, be it if it’s lost or any taxes etc in your home country.

Deadline for the giveaway: 12th of Spetember, 00:59, 2019.

Hope you’ll like the video! Wanna support Have Guitar? Subscribe. That’s it, c’mon and press that button now… I’m very thankful for the subscriptions, Thank You all!

Tone Mister by ToneJunkie (Kemper profiles demo)

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar

(Bonus video as I got over 700K views today! It’s a small step for man but a giant leap for … Havguitarkind. Erhm… well. Thank You!)

It’s time for a video with one of ToneJunkies latests profile packs – Tone Mister! Recreating the sound from a Fender Tone Master, an amp that was unknown to me before doing this video. This amplifier model came out in the mid 90’s and opinions about it seems to vary quite a bit… possibly due to the builds being a bit inconsistent. Hearsay, from the Internet so don’t take my word for it!

However it is, these profiles sure sounds fine to me. Over 40 studio profiles for your Kemper, both channels from the amp is included as is a couple of different cabs. The pack has good variation in tones and goes quite high up when it comes to gain. I’ve also used the Mooer Rumble Drive pedal to add some extra overdrive to some of the sound demos, it can get pretty heavy with that stomp!

I hope you’ll like the video – feel free to support Have Guitar with a subscription if you do! Much obliged for sub’s, your support is rockin’!

Rumble Drive Overdrive Pedal by Mooer (Pedal sound demo & review)

Pedal Frenzy by Have Guitar

I’ve been aware and curious about the Mooer pedals since I tried their mini-wha, The Whater, a couple of years back (it was good!). All I know really is that it is a Chinese company – for me that doesn’t mean it has to be crap. Anyways, so I had a couple of giftcards at the local music store and I came back with 4 Mooer pedals, three of them I got at reduced price.

This video is about the Mooer Rumble Drive Overdrive pedal. Seems most of Mooer’s pedals are based on other wellknown pedals and I did find a webpage that lists them all (the link provided further down). The Rumble Drive is no exception – it’s based on the Hermida/Lovepedal Zendrive. I’ve never tried the Zendrive but I have read some good stuff about it.

And I can tell you; this little green metal box contains some magic tones! I was honestly impressed by the possibilities and the sounds that this pedal brings to the table. It just would not sound bad – especially when you keep volume control up. This one IS a keeper, no doubts about that – just listen to my demo/review of it and judge for yourself!
