68 Purple Plexi by ToneJunkie (Kemper profiles demo)

So, here it is – ToneJunies “mystery amp” – a Marshall Purple Plexi from 1968! Those plexi’s are rare and costly… I have seen prices starting at around 6000 USD and going up to 25K!!! So, I don’t know what ToneJunkie paid but I suppose they had to shell out an impressive amount of green ones to aquire this one!

This is also (as far as I know) the largest pack from ToneJunkie with over 100 Kemper profiles included in the pack, both studio and directs. From clean to hard driven, all very organic in sound and a dynamic feeling provided through careful profiling.

The amp is profiled with different signal chains comprised of 1966, 1968, and 1969 Celestion Speaker models and vintage Amprex, Tungram, Mullard Tubes. If it’s plexi you need it is plexi you get with this awesome profile pack! To spice things up I have used ToneCity’s pedals Sweet Cream and Wild Fire to add some extra energy here and there.

Thanks for watching Have Guitar, hope you liked the demo! If you wanna support me, feel free to subscribe to the channel! To all old and new subscribers – thank you very much for the support!!!

Unchained by Live Ready Sound for Overloud TH-U (Rig Library demo)

It’s a first! A first of what?!! Have Guitar doin’ a demo of a rig library for Overloud’s TH-U! Yep, this video is about the rig library Unchained from Live Ready Sound for the Overloud TH-U!

You might recognize this one as the Unchained pack is also available from Live Ready Sound for the Kemper Profiling Amp. These rigs seeks to recreate the sound of a Metropoulos DVL-1 amp head. According to Metropoulos webpage their vision was to “build the ultimate plexi-style 100-watt amplifier with maximum flexibility and functionality and zero compromise in components, signal purity, and tone”. And it is designed together with William DuVall (of Alice In Chains).

So what does this rig library bring to the table? 144 rigs! These have been created with five different cabinets, five different mic’s and boosted with six different drive pedals – that a massive diversity!

Just a short notice; I haven’t yet reviewed the Overloud TH-U itself yet but that is coming… it is the latest iteration of Overlouds amp sim, available for Windows and IOS. It comes with amps, cabs and a plethora of effects. You can use your own impulse response files (for cab’s) and it can be used for both guitar and bass. One thing that makes this stand out is of course the Rig Player. Described as “allows you to reproduce rig models created by capturing real setups” – well, I think this is the closest you can get to a Kemper without actually buying one. And as you can see in the video it even looks quite like a Kemper toaster unit!

There we are, hope you liked this video and thanks for watching! If you wanna support me, I have provided a subscription link just below here. Much obliged if You do! An eternal flow of gratitude to all you who already subscribes – Thank You!!!

ST 60th Vintage Master series by Green Guitars (Guitar review)

ST 60th Vintage Master series by Green Guitars (Guitar review)
Guitar review/test from Have Guitar!

Have Guitar is happy to present a review of Green Guitars ST 60th Vintage Master Series, a classic stratocaster made like a 1965 strat. Green Guitars is located in Sweden and they offer a large variety of guitar models, all priced very competitive. This model looks great, plays very nice and sounds fantastic – I’m very happy to have been given the chance to present this review to you. I’ve had the Strat for about three weeks and I have given it as much time as I possibly could – partly to see what it can deliver but also due to the fact that I really liked playing it!

In this video I’ve tried to give as much info about the Green Guitars Strat as I could, and I’ve picked out twelve Kemper profiles for the sound samples. I have chosen a bunch of different amplifier and arranged them in the video so it start with low gain increasing to high gain. If you just wanna hear the sound examples I have included an index that you can follow, see below.

I would like to give Green Guitars a round of applause coupled with a Big Thanks for letting me do this review – it’s the first time I’ve been sponsored with a review item in a physical form. I really do appriciate that!

And, I hope You like this video! If you do, please do subscribe to Have Guitar to support my video escapades! As always a very Big Thanks to you who subscribes already, you guys and girls rock!
