Marshall 30th Anniversary pack by TMS Profiles (Kemper profiles demo)

Marshall 30th Anniversary pack by TMS Profiles (Kemper profiles demo) – Kemper Rig Showcase

The first video out for 2018 is a new episode of the Kemper Rig Showcase. I’ll be testing out the Marshall 30th Anniversary 6100 pack from TMS Profiles – glad to be able to say (for once) that I have actually owned the real amplifier from which these profiles are created. This pack will provide you with 90 studio profiles and 10 direct profiles, from clean to quite high gain so there’s are plenty of Kemper profiles to chose from.

When I had the real deal I never really managed to get the 6100 to sound as good as these profiles and with some hindsight I think it was me at that time being the problem, not the amp… because it is obvious that this Marshall amp embodies what Marshall is all about.

According to Marshall themselfes the 6100 should be able to sound like a Super Lead, JTM45, JCM 800, JCM 900 or just a high gain Marshall! Anyways this is a pack that gives an excellent snapshot of what this amp can do.

Don’t forget there’s a free sample pack available, it contains six free Kemper profiles of the Marshall 6100 for your enjoyment.

Hey you… I hoped you enjoyed this video? Why not start 2018 with a great action? Subscribe to Have Guitar! It’s just a click on the button for you, but each subscriber means the world for me! To all you who are alreadu subscribing – Thanks a lot for the support, y’all rock!

SinMix Free Pack – 78 free Kemper profiles! – Kemper Rig Showcase

SinMix Free Pack of Kemper profiles – Kemper Rig Showcase

That’s right, in this (Bonus) Kemper Rig Showcase I will demo the free pack from SinMix – if you haven’t got this already you should go get it right away. C’mon – you will get 15 free bass profiles from a B7K, three Impulse Responses files (if you don’t know what that is I have included a link below, that explains the concept!) and hold on to your imaginary hat – 78 free SinMix guitar profiles!

So, while this is just a teaser of all the profiles packs that SinMix has to offer it’s enough to keep you going for a good while. You will get profiles from amps like; Peavey 5150, Friedman BE 100, Carvin Legacy, Framus Cobra, Krank R1+, PRS Archon, Blackhawk 18 and Diezel VH4S just to mention some of them.

A bunch of different cabinets has been used too and if that don’t suit you, well then you can experiment with those impulse responses that can totally change the sound of a Kemper profile.

Most of these profiles are suited/designed for the harder side of music – metal but that doesn’t mean you can’t find something useful here even if you’re not into that style. As said, download it for free and experiment!

As always, I hope you liked the video and that you will subscribe to Have Guitar! Each subscription counts and gives me support and hopefully increases the chances for more videos on various topics. Always guitar related though! To all of you already subscribing – Thanks! Both new and old supporters – you’re great and I’m humbled by your support…

PRS Archon 100 (Kemper Profiles demo) by ReampZone (Kemper Rig Showcase)

Time for another Kemper Rig Showcase from Have Guitar! This time I’ve had the opportunity to test out a new rig pack from ReampZone – so new it’s actually not released yet, this is a preview of ReampZones PRS Archon 100! Clearly aimed for the hard and heavy side of music and as a bonus some of these profiles has been boosted with fine botique pedal from Fortin (Grind and 33!).

The PRS Archon has two channels, one for overdrive and one for clean – both sound really amazing in these profiles and you can almost feel the 6L6 tubes sweating… those nice pedals I mentioned does not make things worse, I can tell you that for a fact!

Kemper Rig Showcase: Mbritt / 3rd Power 3P CSR Pack

Have Guitar! is back with a new Kemper Rig Showcase – this time I’m happy to be able to present the Mbritt / 3rd Power 3P CSR Pack! It’s a co-operation between Michael Britt and 3rd Power amplification, and yes – it’s another amp manufacturer who now offers Kemper profiles from their own amps. A very nice initiative if you ask for my opinion!

In this rig pack you will get 60 studio profiles created from the original Citizen Gain CSR prototype unit. These Kemper profiles really cover a wide range of tonal possibilities or as Mbritt states in his information sheet “everything from vintage plexi all the way to 800 land”. For myself, I was highly impressed by this pack, from the variation of the profiles to the tonal qualities they bring to the table. So, have a listen to my demo then just head on out and buy this pack already!

Hope you liked the video! If so please support Have Guitars effort to bring fun guitar-related videos to quaff boredom by subscribing to the channel. A big thanks as always to all of you already subscribing, very much appreciated!

Kemper Rig Showcase: Peter’s Profiles – THD UniValve 6L& Power Tube

Here’s a new Kemper Rig Showcase from Have Guitar! In this one I take a look at a Kemper profile pack from Pete’s Profiles, it’s the THD UniValve 6L6 Power Tube. The profiles are created with seven different settings captured by six different microphone which gives us 42 profiles (and yes, I know I say 7×7 in the video… math is obviously not my strong side!).

This amp is class A (and if you wanna know more about that, take a look at the link below!), it’s one channel with an attenuator built in and it runs between 3 – 15 watts. If you want to know more about the amp from which the profiles came, I have added a link to the manufacturer below.

Also, as I’ll tell you in the video, I planning on doing shorter Kemper Rig Showcases from now on. I mean, some of my KRS videos has been way over 20 minutes long! By doing them shorter, I still hope be able make them more focused and actually more enjoyable to watch and the same goes for the Pedal Frenzy videos. The ideal time would be between 5 – 10 minutes. For reviews and some other videos that naturally can be longer for in-depth purposes I have planned doing two versions – like I did with my review of the Gibson SG. One long and one short so you as a viewer can choose the version that suits you.

Equipment used in this video:
Fender American Standard Stratocaster (Shawbucker/Custom 50’s)
Gibson SG Standard 2016 High Performance (490R/498T)
MXR Zakk Wylde Berzerker over drive

That’s it! Hope you like the video and if so consider to subscribe to Have Guitar! Every sub counts and there more I get the more the channel grows and that expands the possibilities. And as always a Very Big Thanks to all of you already subscribing!!

Kemper Rig Showcase – ReampZone’s Peavey Classic 30 Kemper profiles

Have Guitar presents a new Kemper Rig Showcase – ReampZone’s Peavey Classic 30 profile pack!

“I’m a rocker, I’m a roller – I’m a right out of controller!”

So why do these lines from AC/DC’s Rocker spring to mind? Because to me that’s just what the Peavey Classic 30 seems to be about. A slightly vintage character but definitely more rock than metal in my ears. And it do sound good…

These profiles are taken from a Peavey Classic 30 head, not the combo version which is more common. It’s 30 watts, two channels ranging from clean to dirty crunch and equipped with three 12AX7 and four EL84 tubes. Also used to boost the amp head is the Klon Centaur, Duncan 805 and some other stomp boxes – for more info see the link to ReampZone below.

GuitarList:
ESP Phoenix II (Seymour Duncan JB/’59)
Harley Benton TE70 Black Paisley (Fender Texas Specials)
Fender American Standard Stratocaster (Shawbucker/Custom 50’s)
Gibson SG Standard 2016 High Performance (490R/498T)
Gibson Les Paul ’76

That’s it! Hope you like the video and if so consider to subscribe to Have Guitar! Every sub counts and the more I get the more the channel grows and that expands the possibilities. And as always a Very Big Thanks to all of You already subscribing!!

Kemper Rig Showcase: Live Ready Sound’s – 6160 Platinum Modded pack

Have Guitar is franticaly excited to present a new Kemper Rig Showcase – Live Ready Sound’s 6160 Platinum Modded pack! Live Ready Sounds offers, as allways, a big number of profiles with many sonic variations. If you can’t find a sound you like in this pack I have no idea where you should look elsewhere… These profiles recreates the sound of a Peavey 5150 Block Letter Head Platinum Modded by Voodoo Amps and they do it in style!

The Peavey 5150 was the signature model for Eddie Van Halen, til he parted ways with Peavey so nowadays this model is called Peavey 6505. This amp is well known for its high gain capabilities but it does not only handle metal but softer blues and rock tones as well. For more details, see the wikipedia-link further down.

Hope you liked the video! If you do please subscribe to Have Guitar and feel free to like, comment and share the video… if you don’t well… why not? Thanks for all the new sub’s – over 400 now, that is just amazing. So thanks again to all new and old subscribers for the support!!!
