Kemper Rig Showcase from Have Guitar!

So, I got to try out the beta version for this new profile pack from Live Ready Sound – Fukes ODS 100 watt – and I liked it alot! So much I instantly recorded a demo and tried to make it ready before the release of the full pack but alas – Live Ready Sound beat me to it. So, the pack is out – with more profiles than I had access to while recording this Rig Showcase.

I don’t have the full picture of this amp but I think… it’s a Musicman modified by Fuchs. Or something like that, but I don’t know what the original amp was called – I have seen a picture of this but it just says Fuchs. So, stop asking about that and play instead – it sounds great!

Kemper Rig Showcase from Have Guitar!

Sorry to nag but please do subscribe to Have Guitar so I can be part of Youtube’s partnership program… The new criteria is a load of viewing hours (which I got) but also 1000 sub’s which I currently do have but it’s uncomfortable close to lower limit. So, on my knees begging here, help me stay over the 1000 subs and there will be free beer. Well, at least if you ever see me in real life, otherwise you will just have to be pleased by the good feeling of helping someone out …and my eteral gratitude.

So, it’s another Kemper Rig Showcase and this time it’s brutal and it’s humongous – it is the Mesa Boogie Dual Rec REV F from ReampZone with a whopping size of 158 direct and studio profiles for your Kemper Profiling Amp!

I’m pretty sure the Mesa Boogie amplifiers doesn’t need an introduction and this profile pack from ReampZone is a monster! It is a wide array of sounds packed into these profiles – if you’re looking for aggressive, hard hitting tones you need look no further! Not that you couldn’t use these profiles for other music but clearly they are designed for metal side… or hard core… or punk… or… nah, you got it, I guess.

65 Lowman Amp Pack by Tone Junkie (Kemper profiles demo)

65 Lowman Amp Pack by Tone Junkie (Kemper profiles demo)
Kemper Rig Showcase from Have Guitar!

Have Guitar’s proud to present a Kemper Rig Showcase featuring Tone Junkie’s 65 Lowman Amp Pack. It’s a first time for me, trying out Kemper profiles from Tone Junkie but it will certainly not be the last time! These profiles are taken from a Fender Bassman from 1965 equipped with NOS RCS tubes and in this pack you will get 36 studio profiles ranging from clean to quite high gain.

The Lowman pack might not be for metal but there some sweet high gain sound to be had here. Then you have those lovely just-about-to-breakup tones… I’d say this pack has the sounds you need for styles like rock, blues, hard/classic rock and so on. I had a great time recording this Rig Showcase and I hope you’ll understand why when you hear the demos in this video.

If you enjoyed this video, please do subscribe to Have Guitar! I really do need that support now when Youtube has decided that you need 1000 sub’s to stay in their partnership program… also, up until the 31th of January 2018, all new subscribers will get a free profile pack from TMS Profiles, their SL5 pack (based on a Marshall SL5 amp). All you need to do is subscribe to Have Guitar and then either send a PM here on Youtube or a mail to admin (at) haveguitar.com and the pack is yours! And as always – a big thanks to all you who already do subscribe, the support is appreciated!

JJ-Watt Profile pack by Mattfig (Kemper profiles demo)

JJ-Watt (Hiwatt Clone) by Mattfig (Kemper profiles demo)
Have Guitars Kemper Rig Showcase 2018

Have Guitar is back (as we all know, this is a weekly occurence!) with a spanking new Kemper Rig Showcase, let me hear a “yay”! In this one I’ll take spinn of Mattfigs new pack JJ Watt – 40 fine studio profiles to chose from!

The JJ Watt is profiled from a Hiwatt clone amp built by Jason Jurczyk. This is not really a metal pack, it sounds more like rock and roll to me and it both rocks and rolls very well. I’ll also show the tweaks I’ve done to make the sounds you hear in the video – Have Guitar plays with open cards! 🙂

Mattfig Giveaway!
As said in the video, Matt contacted me and said “Hey, why don’t do a giveaway of some of my Kemper profile packs?”. And of course I wanna do that! So this is how it goes:

* I will give away a total of FIVE full packs, that is single packs with all the profiles of the commercial release.
* To enter just add a comment like “I’d like the JJ Watts pack from Mattfig”.
* You can replace the “JJ Watts” with any single amp pack from Mattfigs webshop that you would like to have, see link to the webshop below. (In other words, you can’t choose the Full Pack, Metal Pack or any other pack that contains multiple amps.)
* You can also send a mail to admin (AT) haveguitar.com with your choise.
* The Deadline is 31th of January 2018 and after that I will present a video where I draw the winners.
* The packs will be sent out via email to the winners.

Easy as pie! A very BIG thanks to Mattfig for letting me do another Have Guitar Giveaway!

Marshall 30th Anniversary pack by TMS Profiles (Kemper profiles demo)

Marshall 30th Anniversary pack by TMS Profiles (Kemper profiles demo) – Kemper Rig Showcase

The first video out for 2018 is a new episode of the Kemper Rig Showcase. I’ll be testing out the Marshall 30th Anniversary 6100 pack from TMS Profiles – glad to be able to say (for once) that I have actually owned the real amplifier from which these profiles are created. This pack will provide you with 90 studio profiles and 10 direct profiles, from clean to quite high gain so there’s are plenty of Kemper profiles to chose from.

When I had the real deal I never really managed to get the 6100 to sound as good as these profiles and with some hindsight I think it was me at that time being the problem, not the amp… because it is obvious that this Marshall amp embodies what Marshall is all about.

According to Marshall themselfes the 6100 should be able to sound like a Super Lead, JTM45, JCM 800, JCM 900 or just a high gain Marshall! Anyways this is a pack that gives an excellent snapshot of what this amp can do.

Don’t forget there’s a free sample pack available, it contains six free Kemper profiles of the Marshall 6100 for your enjoyment.

SinMix Free Pack – 78 free Kemper profiles! – Kemper Rig Showcase

SinMix Free Pack of Kemper profiles – Kemper Rig Showcase

That’s right, in this (Bonus) Kemper Rig Showcase I will demo the free pack from SinMix – if you haven’t got this already you should go get it right away. C’mon – you will get 15 free bass profiles from a B7K, three Impulse Responses files (if you don’t know what that is I have included a link below, that explains the concept!) and hold on to your imaginary hat – 78 free SinMix guitar profiles!

So, while this is just a teaser of all the profiles packs that SinMix has to offer it’s enough to keep you going for a good while. You will get profiles from amps like; Peavey 5150, Friedman BE 100, Carvin Legacy, Framus Cobra, Krank R1+, PRS Archon, Blackhawk 18 and Diezel VH4S just to mention some of them.

A bunch of different cabinets has been used too and if that don’t suit you, well then you can experiment with those impulse responses that can totally change the sound of a Kemper profile.

Most of these profiles are suited/designed for the harder side of music – metal but that doesn’t mean you can’t find something useful here even if you’re not into that style. As said, download it for free and experiment!

As always, I hope you liked the video and that you will subscribe to Have Guitar! Each subscription counts and gives me support and hopefully increases the chances for more videos on various topics. Always guitar related though! To all of you already subscribing – Thanks! Both new and old supporters – you’re great and I’m humbled by your support…
