Kemper Rig Showcase: ReampZone’s Marshall JMP Super Lead 1976 (pre-sale preview)

Have Guitar is happy to give you a pre-view of a coming pack of Kemper profiles from ReampZone – Marshall JMP Super Lead 1976! Also known as a “Plexi” this is a really classic Marshall amplifier, played by guitar legends like Jimi Hendrix, Ace Frehley and Eddie Van Halen, just to mention a few.

Please note this IS a pre-view of the coming pack from ReampZone, some of the profiles showcased here might or might not be included in the final release but I am pretty sure the pack will contain both Direct as well as Studio profiles.

This video in Swedish (svensk version):

Guitars used:
Schecter E1 Custom Special Edition VSB
Gibson SG Standard High Performance
Fender Amercian Standard Stratocaster (Shawbucker/Custom 50’s)

Hope you like both the profile pack and the video – if you do, please do subscribe to support Have Guitar! Thanks for watching my videos and a Big Thanks to all the subscribers – you rock!

Kemper Rig Showcase: Peter’s Profiles – THD UniValve 6L& Power Tube

Here’s a new Kemper Rig Showcase from Have Guitar! In this one I take a look at a Kemper profile pack from Pete’s Profiles, it’s the THD UniValve 6L6 Power Tube. The profiles are created with seven different settings captured by six different microphone which gives us 42 profiles (and yes, I know I say 7×7 in the video… math is obviously not my strong side!).

This amp is class A (and if you wanna know more about that, take a look at the link below!), it’s one channel with an attenuator built in and it runs between 3 – 15 watts. If you want to know more about the amp from which the profiles came, I have added a link to the manufacturer below.

Also, as I’ll tell you in the video, I planning on doing shorter Kemper Rig Showcases from now on. I mean, some of my KRS videos has been way over 20 minutes long! By doing them shorter, I still hope be able make them more focused and actually more enjoyable to watch and the same goes for the Pedal Frenzy videos. The ideal time would be between 5 – 10 minutes. For reviews and some other videos that naturally can be longer for in-depth purposes I have planned doing two versions – like I did with my review of the Gibson SG. One long and one short so you as a viewer can choose the version that suits you.

Equipment used in this video:
Fender American Standard Stratocaster (Shawbucker/Custom 50’s)
Gibson SG Standard 2016 High Performance (490R/498T)
MXR Zakk Wylde Berzerker over drive

That’s it! Hope you like the video and if so consider to subscribe to Have Guitar! Every sub counts and there more I get the more the channel grows and that expands the possibilities. And as always a Very Big Thanks to all of you already subscribing!!

Kemper Rig Showcase – ReampZone’s Peavey Classic 30 Kemper profiles

Have Guitar presents a new Kemper Rig Showcase – ReampZone’s Peavey Classic 30 profile pack!

“I’m a rocker, I’m a roller – I’m a right out of controller!”

So why do these lines from AC/DC’s Rocker spring to mind? Because to me that’s just what the Peavey Classic 30 seems to be about. A slightly vintage character but definitely more rock than metal in my ears. And it do sound good…

These profiles are taken from a Peavey Classic 30 head, not the combo version which is more common. It’s 30 watts, two channels ranging from clean to dirty crunch and equipped with three 12AX7 and four EL84 tubes. Also used to boost the amp head is the Klon Centaur, Duncan 805 and some other stomp boxes – for more info see the link to ReampZone below.

GuitarList:
ESP Phoenix II (Seymour Duncan JB/’59)
Harley Benton TE70 Black Paisley (Fender Texas Specials)
Fender American Standard Stratocaster (Shawbucker/Custom 50’s)
Gibson SG Standard 2016 High Performance (490R/498T)
Gibson Les Paul ’76

That’s it! Hope you like the video and if so consider to subscribe to Have Guitar! Every sub counts and the more I get the more the channel grows and that expands the possibilities. And as always a Very Big Thanks to all of You already subscribing!!

Kemper Rig Showcase: Live Ready Sound’s – 6160 Platinum Modded pack

Have Guitar is franticaly excited to present a new Kemper Rig Showcase – Live Ready Sound’s 6160 Platinum Modded pack! Live Ready Sounds offers, as allways, a big number of profiles with many sonic variations. If you can’t find a sound you like in this pack I have no idea where you should look elsewhere… These profiles recreates the sound of a Peavey 5150 Block Letter Head Platinum Modded by Voodoo Amps and they do it in style!

The Peavey 5150 was the signature model for Eddie Van Halen, til he parted ways with Peavey so nowadays this model is called Peavey 6505. This amp is well known for its high gain capabilities but it does not only handle metal but softer blues and rock tones as well. For more details, see the wikipedia-link further down.

Hope you liked the video! If you do please subscribe to Have Guitar and feel free to like, comment and share the video… if you don’t well… why not? Thanks for all the new sub’s – over 400 now, that is just amazing. So thanks again to all new and old subscribers for the support!!!

Kemper Rig Showcase – Mattfig’s SuperClean & Mr. Boga

Passed 400 subscribers – that calls for a bonus video! This Rig Showcase was due about 2 weeks from now but hey, gotta show my appriciation right? Thanks for subs!!

Have Guitar is twice as happy to be able to present a double feature Kemper Rig Showcase on Mattfig’s JF SuperClean and Mr. Boga! These Kemper profile packs couldn’t be further away from eachother…

The SuperClean is a profile pack that certainly lives up to its name – super clean sounds, I first thought these rigs had to come from a Fender amp but they are done using a Jaded Faith SuperClean preamp! Profiles configured for both single-coils and humbuckers included.

So the Mr. Boga is the opposite – high gain happiness from a Laboga hot-rodded amp. You want fat and juice tones? Then take a listen to these rigs from Mattfig!

I hope you’ll like this video and please do subscribe if you do! Every sub counts!! Thanks to all old and new followers, it’s so appriciated I’m about to explode… as I’m writing this the 400 is closing in, amazing! Thanks again!

Kemper Rig Showcase: ReampZones Orange AD140

One year and one day since the first Kemper Rig Showcase appeared at Have Guitar! – let’s throw in a bonus Sunday video on that! This is ReampZone’s Orange AD140 – a very capable rig pack that covers what you need from clean to crunch sounds. It’s more in the style of rock, blues and similar and to add to that it’s modded as well, making it more unique than anything else…

The AD140 is no longer in stock, I think they stopped the production in 2006 (correct me if I’m wrong!) so if you want a beast like this you need to search for a used one. Or you could get a Kemper Profiling Amp and buy this pack.

Hope you liked the video! If so please support Have Guitars effort to bring fun guitar-related videos to quaff boredom by subscribing to the channel. A big thanks as always to all of you already subscribing, much appriciated!

Kemper Jubilee Rig Showcase: Top 5 profile packs from the last year!

Have Guitar is honored to give you the One Year Jubilee Kemper Rig Showcase – I can’t belive a whole year has passed since the first Kemper Rig Showcase was published here at Have Guitar!

Short history of Have Guitar!:
In 2007 I noticed the increasing trend of Youtube and as I’ve always been fascinated by any terms of expressing your self through video I felt I wanted to start something too. Took until early 2009 before I actually did start the channel and uploaded my first video (Greco vs Gibson) but at that time I didn’t really have access to what it took to make a good video. Still content is king so that video took off with a quite impressive amount of views.

So job, small kids and other stuff took its toll and I didn’t have much time for making videos… FF to spring 2016, I had moved to a place where I could have a studio and I wanted to get back on track with playing the guitar again, something I hadn’t really been doing much for a way too long time. Then I bought my Gibson SG on a sale and that somehow made me think about the Youtube channel again – Have Guitar! was restarted even if the videos wasn’t exactly pouring out.

So sitting around with lots of profiles packs for my Kemper I thought to myself, that could be the starting base for the channel and then the 9th of September 2016 I published the first Kemper Rig Showcase, ReampZones Hughes & Kettner Triology. Still was a bit randomness to when I published videos for a few months and I think it was around January 2017 that I decided to go for the “a new video every thursday” concept.

So far, so good – been able to keep that up for nine months now – I have learnt a lot during these months and I’m pretty sure I will learn a whole lot more as time flies past. And I must say I succeeded in what my main motivation was – to inspire myself to play more guitar (after that too long break) and the cherry on the cake is that people have been watching the videos and given positive feedback and subscribed to my channel!

So with this video I just wanna say thanks for the likes, comments, views and subscribtions! Here you will get the Top 5 profile packs that has been showcased at Have Guitar for the past year. They are shown in no particular order so number one isn’t higher rated than number five, it’s just my favourite five rig packs tested out in my videos.

And HEY! If don’t wanna spoil which profilers are featured in the video you shouldn’t read any further until you have watched the video… because there’s links to their websites a bit down here so stop reading now and watch the video! 🙂

Thanks for all the support, I hope you will like this video and there’s more to come! As always, if you don’t subscribe please do so to support Have Guitar! – every individual counts and you will have my eternal gratitude, something that all of you who already do subscribe already have – Thanks! 🙂

Kemper Rig Showcase: ReampZones Marshall JCM900 MKIII 2100

Have Guitar is stoked to present a new Kemper Rig Showcase – ReampZones Marshall JCM900 MKIII 2100! Sure sounds like a Marshall to me and I mean that in a good way!

The first Marshall JCM900 was released early 1990, designed for higher gain and less noise. When Guitar World tested the new Marshall amps they concluded it as “Marshall has once again successfully reinvented itself”. Me personally think ReampZone has done a good job indeed capturing that Marshall vibe in these profiles, from the powerful clean tone to the screamin’ high gain notes. Watch the video for a cut of you’ll get!

Hope you like this Rig Showcase from Have Guitar! and if you please do subscribe to the channel to give me some support! The goal is to release a new video every Thursday and when there’s time more than that… because playing guitar is fun! Thanks for watching my videos and a very big Thank You to all of you who are subscribing!!
