Sinergy AC by SGL Profiles (Kemper profiles demo)
Kemper Rig Showcase by Have Guitar

Say what?! It’s a new episode of Have Guitar’s Kemper Rig Showcase!! Let’s take a swing at the Sinergy AC from SGL Profiles! This pack recreates the sound of a modular tube preamp system through EL34 and 6L6 power amps. To me it sound kinda like a Vox amp even if it isn’t.

The pack comes quite cheap; 7 Canadian dollars (5.3 USD or 4.7 EUR) and for that you will get 21 Studio, 6 Merged and 3 Direct profiles. Nothing for the metal heads in here but I’d say if you want something suited for rock, blues or maybe even pop music this pack has a little something for you.

So, I certainly hope you like this video and feel free to support my channel by a subscription! And as always a Very Big Thanks goes out to all you who subscribe – Thank You!

August 2018 Tonecrate Kemper Bundle (Kemper profiles demo)
Kemper Rig Showcase by Have Guitar

Alright, time for a new take on the old Kemper Rig Showcase here at Have Guitar! I’ve joined ToneCrate.com – had my eyes on this service for a time now and well, now I decided to sign up! If you don’t know what ToneCrate is about, think of it like the Loot Crate boxes you can subscribe to – you never know what the box will contain… except that in this case it will of course be profiles for your Kemper!

My first pack is the August 2018 release from ToneCrate, which contains the Cory Brunnemann Signature Kemper Bundle (21 Kemper profiles) and the Jordan Valeriote Mini-Kemper Pack (4 profiles). “Which amp?” you ask… wrong! It’s amps like in plural;

* Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier
* Marshall JMP 2203
* Fender Bassman
* Peavey 5150
* Marshall BluesBreaker JTM45

If you think about joining ToneCrate you should do it now… because if you do it before September 2018 you will get it for the currect price ($10/month or $99/year). The monthly price will increase to $17 from September but those who sign up for the old price will get to keep it as long as they don’t break their subscription!

Equipment used:
Gibson Les Paul 2006 (Burstbuckers Pro)
Harley Benton TE-70 Black Paisley Telecaster (Fender Texas Specials)
Kemper Profiling Amp

Fender Telecaster Reissue ’52 Custom Shop – Test / Review

Fender Telecaster Reissue ’52 Custom Shop – Test / Review
Guitar review by Have Guitar

My partner in crime (when it comes to a fascination of guitars!) Klas came around with a surprise the other day. I kinda suspected what it was from the tweed case he had in his car and lo and behold: it was Fender Telecaster Reissue 52 Custom Shop from 2014! It had a little relic from the factory but not so much that it was disturbing (me not being a fan of factory relicing really!).

So, we spent a couple of hours playing this Tele and man; was I impressed! And so was Klas as he hadn’t that much time in it. It just sounded great with any profile we loaded up in my Kemper, from clean worshiptones to full metal higain stuff! And so we decided to make test/review video of this Fender Tele and to my delight Klas also joined in on the video – very fun to have someone to talk to during the video and I hope you’ll like that too!

I have been looking around for the spec’s of this particular guitar but the closest I’ve come across is the general spec’s of a ’52 Telecaster and as this should follow that pretty closely here it is:

Body: Ash
Neck: One-Piece Bolt-On Maple
Number of Frets: 21
Position Inlays: Black Dot
Radius: 7.25″
Pickups: Two Single-Coil Pickups with Volume and Tone Controls
Switching: 3-Position Switch
Bridge: 3-Saddle Strings-Through-Body Bridge with Brass Saddles
Pickguard: 1-Ply Black
(Borrowed from: https://areyouexperiment.wordpress.com/2017/05/20/fender-52-telecaster-reissue/)

For the sound we’re playing through my Kemper, hooked up to my Focusrite soundcard via SPDIF (stereo) and recorded in Reaper. I have used profiles from the following profilers: ReampZone, Live Ready Sound, SinMix, Mattfig, TMS Profiles and ToneJunkie. Tried to pick a varied selection of sounds from clean to metal to give you wide overview of what the Tele is capable of.

So, I certainly hope you like this video and feel free to support my channel by a subscription! And as always a Very Big Thanks goes out to all you who subscribe – Thank You!

New Spring Reverb FX in the Kemper Profiling Amp (Beta preview)

New Spring Reverb FX in the Kemper Profiling Amp

Yup, that’s right if anyone missed the news… that isn’t that new really. But here’s me trying out the new Spring Reverb effect in the Kemper, based on the Fender Reverb Tank from 1963. And I must say it sounds great!

Should point out that this is a beta, a preview – I forgot to mention that in the video. So this is Profiler Operating System 5.6.2 Spring Reverb Preview that requires Rig Manager’s 2.1.25 revision. Beta’s are installed at your own perill…

Another interesting thing is that you can place this reverb anywhere in the FX chain; put it infront of the amp for a gritty, distorted sound or place it behind the amp for a clean stereo reverb.

And if you read this far – don’t miss out on the Mattfig Giveaway, I have three packs of Mattfig’s Trust Pack (four different packs of Kemper profiles) to giveaway. Today (28/6-2018) is the last day to join so if you wanna get a chance to win some free commercial profiles check out the link to that video below.

Alright, don’t forget to subscribe and like the video if you liked it! If you didn’t like it please send a letter to president Trump and let him know about it. To each and everyone of you who are subscribing – Thank You!
