69 Silver Lowman by ToneJunkie (Kemper profiles demo)

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar!

Here’s another fine pack from ToneJunkie’s neverending effort to profile every amp in the world: 69 Silver Lowman! These profiles aims to recreate the sound from a 1969 Fender Bassman “drip edge”. (And if you like me don’t know what “drip edge” means; it’s a silver lining around the cabinet of the amp).

So this is obviously a vintage amplifier and according to me the Fender Bassman’s are great amps. Not if you wanna do Meshugga (laughs) but I’d say they can handle most musical styles quite well. From sweet clean tone to screaming classic gain! The profile pack comes with 29 profiles; 25 studio and 4 direct’s.

Also, someone might wonder why I’m using the black Gibson SG when I’m doing the “2 guitars, 1 profile” comparision. Well, I recorded the first part with the Yellow SG before I went on vacation… so when I got back home and started recording again, 8-10 days had passed and not really thinking before acting I just picked up the black SG instead of the yellow one. Forgetful? Me?! Nah…!

That’s it – hope you like the video and support ToneJunkie and buy the pack if you like what you hear! If you wanna support me you don’t have to buy anything, just click the subscribe button. A great many thanks to all you who subscribes!!

Gibson Dirty Fingers pickups X 3 (different guitar models – same pickups)

Sound Demo/Test by Have Guitar

OK, so I mainly did this video because I could… it’s not every day that I have three different guitars with the same pickup configuration in the studio! So there’s my Gibson Explorer Tribute 2019 and then Klas Gibson SG and Explorer Government Series I – all equipped with Gibson Dirty Fingers humbuckers. Is there a difference? Watch this video to make your own decision!

Some info about the Government Series I:
“Using the woods returned from the 2 highly questionable raids the US Government did on their factory in Nashville, Gibson has decided to release the new Government series of guitars. Limited in number, these guitars feature a “Government Grey” finish, classic Dirty Fingers model pickups and come in new olive green hardshell cases. 300 Les Pauls, 175 SGs, 100 Explorers and 100 Flying Vs are all that are being built.”

I have reviewed both the Gibson Explorer and SG Government Series I in separate video’s – check out the link below if you’re interested in that. And whilst pushing my own videos I have of course reviewed my own Gibson Explorer Tribute 2019 as well, link also included.

Fuchs ODS SLX by Pete’s Profiles (Kemper profiles demo)

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar

A new Rig Showcase and this time it’s time for Pete’s Profiles Fuchs ODS SLX! This is a fairly big pack with 60 Kemper profiles that recreates the sound from a Fuchs ODS SLX Concert 75. About the amp itself I don’t know much but the profiles sure sound good. The range from crisp breaking up to almost fat fuzz style tones. No lack of variation here!

Seems to me the Fuchs amps are considered ’boutique’ – which most likely means they are handmade and quite expensive. So what, isn’t the perfect tone worth it? Yes, it is. Anyways, this pack give you an opportunity to try out an amp that you not even see at your local music store and that is a great thing. Well, you know, might not be the real deal but as close as it currently gets.

Thanks for watching Have Guitar – hope you like this demo! A subscription to the channel will be most appreciated. To you who subscribe – Thank You!!!

Tone Mister by ToneJunkie (Kemper profiles demo)

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar

(Bonus video as I got over 700K views today! It’s a small step for man but a giant leap for … Havguitarkind. Erhm… well. Thank You!)

It’s time for a video with one of ToneJunkies latests profile packs – Tone Mister! Recreating the sound from a Fender Tone Master, an amp that was unknown to me before doing this video. This amplifier model came out in the mid 90’s and opinions about it seems to vary quite a bit… possibly due to the builds being a bit inconsistent. Hearsay, from the Internet so don’t take my word for it!

However it is, these profiles sure sounds fine to me. Over 40 studio profiles for your Kemper, both channels from the amp is included as is a couple of different cabs. The pack has good variation in tones and goes quite high up when it comes to gain. I’ve also used the Mooer Rumble Drive pedal to add some extra overdrive to some of the sound demos, it can get pretty heavy with that stomp!

I hope you’ll like the video – feel free to support Have Guitar with a subscription if you do! Much obliged for sub’s, your support is rockin’!

Cam Modded Collection by Borg Factory (Kemper profiles demo)

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar

Here’s a demo from another Kemper profile pack from Borg Factory – the Cam Modded Collection! This is a high gain pack with profiles taken from a couple of amplifiers that have been modded by a certain very well known amp modder. The amp’s are a Marshall 1976 JMP 100W that has the Ocean Mod, the other one is a Sovtek MIG-50 with the HG Jose mod. All studio profiles!

So, as said this is a pack of high gain stuff – well profiled from the original amps. Don’t take my word for it, listen to the demo and judge for yourself. Might add that while I am writing this the pack is on sale so if you like what you hear, go get it! The profilers are worth the support!

Thanks for watching Have Guitar, hope you liked this demo! A forever ongoing Thank You goes out to all of you who subscribe – your support is what makes it worth to continue making videos!

Randall Satan (120w) by ReampZone (Kemper profiles demo)

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar

It’s been awhile since I featured a profile pack from ReampZone so here’s the Randall Satan (120w) Kemper profile pack! The pack is packed (pun intended!) with fat metal tones but flexible enough for other styles as well. Contains both direct and studio profiles, some boosted with stomps like the Fortin 33 for an extra tight nice boost!

The Randall Satan is the signature amp of Ola Englund, comes in two variants (120 and 50 W). The 120W version comes with 2 channels and of course loaded with features… for more details, check the link to Randall Amplification provided below.

I hope I made this sweet pack from ReampZone justice and that you’ll like this demo. Feel free to support Have Guitar by a subscription! A bag of “thank yous” is handed out to you who subsscribe as always… you make it worthwhile to keep it up!

Gibson SG Government Series 1 (Guitar review)

Guitar review by Have Guitar!

I must confess I am blessed by having a friend who’s as guitar crazy as I am… if not this (and several other videos) would not have happend! So, he went about and bought two Gibsons from the Government Series 1 and this is the first review where I take a close look at the Gibson SG Government Series 1. A big Thanks to Klas for letting me try out these guitars!

All the details about this SG is in the video – that is, all the details that I could find! There isn’t that much information available actually… and to be honest, I wasn’t even aware about the the Government models until my buddy bought these. They are kinda rare as each model was produced in only 300 units, perhaps even less for some of the them. All models in the Series 1 goes in gray/black and there is also a Series 2 that goes in tan/brown and black. Another funny details about the Government Series 1 is that the cases goes in green and black!

So, hope you’ll like this video – I certainly enjoyed recording it. Just gonna mention that this video is in 24 FPS instead of the usual 50 FPS. Sorry for that but it’s kinda annoying in the new video editing software that I’m using (Davinci Resolve) that stuff like that should be set before editing any media – once you’ve added the media it cannot be changed, so it was a miss from side. Thanks goes out to all my subscribers!!

Here’s a video that features TMS Profiles new Kemper profile pack – RKR30 – recreating the sound of an Orange Rocker 30 head. This pack contain 40 Merged profiles that according to my opinion really captures that Orange sound – fat and creamy just like you should like it! And… I’ll throw in this video as a “bonus” as it’s also a giveaway! Watch the video to see how to enter – a very Big Thank You to TMS Profiles for letting me do this giveaway.

Deadline for the giveaway:
April 27th 2019, 23:59

Throwing in a footnote here that this is the first video that I have created/edited in Davinci Resolve, a video editing software that is available for free in a light version. It should not make any difference for you as a viewer and the reason for me changing software is that I am tired of seeing the Magix Movie Studio Platinum series not improving with the new versions. And also that I don’t wanna pay for those not so good new versions…

Thanks for watching Have Guitar and the support from you who subscribe is something which I am very grateful for! If you wanna support my little independent channel do subscribe, it’s free! 😉

March 2019 Dan Sugerman by ToneCrate (Kemper profiles demo)

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar

A new month and a new pack from ToneCrate – this time it’s Dan Sugarman (As Blood Runs Black) who is the featured signature artist. This pack contains a bunch of profiles tweaked by him and those are the profiles demoed in this video… of course! The style is quite varied with some of the profiles quite effects heavy. All in all some good tones are to be found here.

For those of you who are not familiar with the ToneCrate concept; it’s a subscription service where you get a new pack of Kemper profiles each month. Pretty much like for example the loot crates you can subscribe to but here you get profiles instead. Pretty fun and interesting and not too expensive so why not join in? I believe the concept of having a signature artist tweaking the sound is really great and a way to insure you will get a personal touch in each package.

Thanks for watching Have Guitar! and I do hope you liked the video! Feel free to subscribe to support my channel, that will be appreciated. For all subscribers – Thanks!!
