New Spring Reverb FX in the Kemper Profiling Amp (Beta preview)

New Spring Reverb FX in the Kemper Profiling Amp

Yup, that’s right if anyone missed the news… that isn’t that new really. But here’s me trying out the new Spring Reverb effect in the Kemper, based on the Fender Reverb Tank from 1963. And I must say it sounds great!

Should point out that this is a beta, a preview – I forgot to mention that in the video. So this is Profiler Operating System 5.6.2 Spring Reverb Preview that requires Rig Manager’s 2.1.25 revision. Beta’s are installed at your own perill…

Another interesting thing is that you can place this reverb anywhere in the FX chain; put it infront of the amp for a gritty, distorted sound or place it behind the amp for a clean stereo reverb.

And if you read this far – don’t miss out on the Mattfig Giveaway, I have three packs of Mattfig’s Trust Pack (four different packs of Kemper profiles) to giveaway. Today (28/6-2018) is the last day to join so if you wanna get a chance to win some free commercial profiles check out the link to that video below.

Kemper Rig Showcase from Have Guitar!

Have Guitar’s proud to present a Kemper Rig Showcase featuring Tone Junkie’s 65 Lowman Amp Pack. It’s a first time for me, trying out Kemper profiles from Tone Junkie but it will certainly not be the last time! These profiles are taken from a Fender Bassman from 1965 equipped with NOS RCS tubes and in this pack you will get 36 studio profiles ranging from clean to quite high gain.

The Lowman pack might not be for metal but there some sweet high gain sound to be had here. Then you have those lovely just-about-to-breakup tones… I’d say this pack has the sounds you need for styles like rock, blues, hard/classic rock and so on. I had a great time recording this Rig Showcase and I hope you’ll understand why when you hear the demos in this video.

If you enjoyed this video, please do subscribe to Have Guitar! I really do need that support now when Youtube has decided that you need 1000 sub’s to stay in their partnership program… also, up until the 31th of January 2018, all new subscribers will get a free profile pack from TMS Profiles, their SL5 pack (based on a Marshall SL5 amp). All you need to do is subscribe to Have Guitar and then either send a PM here on Youtube or a mail to admin (at) haveguitar.com and the pack is yours! And as always – a big thanks to all you who already do subscribe, the support is appreciated!

Rig showcase: TopJimis Medium-power Tweed Pack

The Fender Bassman is a really iconic amplifier and I’ve been looking forward to make a KPA rig showcase based on a profiled Bassman. So, in this video you’ll get a showcase from TopJimi’s Medium-power Tweed Pack for the Kemper Profiling Amp. As a “bonus” I’ve thrown in a small comparission of the Boss Fender Bassman ’59 FBM-1, a stompbox that emulates the same amplifier. It’s not a fullblown review/showcase of the pedal but more of a quick-look (or should that be ‘quicklisten?). Anyways, it’s a great profile pack that I’ve really enjoyed playing around with and I hope you’ll like it as well!
