Distortion Stomps Kemper Profiling Amp

Demo by Have Guitar

In this video we’ll dive into the Red Zone of the Kemper’s effects; the distortion stomps. There are seven different stomps to choose from, all based on some classic stomps that I guess most guitarists are aware of… These effects brings out a variety of distortion effects that you can apply to any given profile to spice up your tone.

So you can of course add a drive stomp to add gain but you can also keep the drive to zero just using the effect to color your sound and add that little extra boost that might be needed. You can place them before or after the amp which will drastically change how the drive affects your tone. And you can stack two or more drives if that’s what you need. In this video I will go through the first five drive effects (Green Scream, Plus DS, One DS, Muffin and the Mouse) – part 2 will contain the remaining two (Fuzz DS and Metal DS) plus some stacking examples. The shaper and boost effects will be covered in a part 3 video of this series.

Sorry but I do not own the original pedals, would love to make a comparative video but that just isn’t possible right now. Maybe one day…

Budda Superdrive 80 by Gold Lion Studio (Kemper profiles demo)

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar

Here’s another Rig Showcase and in this video I’ll take a closer look at Gold Lion Studio’s Budda Superdrive 80! It’s a fine pack of Kemper profiles, the tone and the sustain of these profiles just rocks! So this video will go out on a non-scheduled time (that is not a Thursday) dur to the fact below – please read it!

This pack contains both direct and merged profiles, the total number is 58 – and the pack IS on sale right now! If you like what you hear please do support GLS by buying this pack! Right now Maxime Lajoie, the man behind Gold Lion Studio, got some bad news that his mother has been diagnosed with a terminal illness… any money he gets in will go directly to enable him to take a break and spend his limited time with his mother. ToneJunkie has already contributed by giving a days sale to Maxime and I will persoanlly buy a couple of packs to support him. Be a fellow human and do the same.

And that’s it! Hope you liked the video – comments and likes are welcome but of course a subscription beats them both! And a Very Big Thank You to y’all who subscribes!!

Clean Gain Kemper Bundle by ToneCrate (Kemper profiles demo)

Rig Showcase by Have Guitar

It’s time for another Kemper Rig Showcase and here’s TonCrate’s Febuary Kemper bundle – Clean Gain! So previsously there has been a slight focus on the heavy stuff but here is the opposite just as the bundle name suggests. Here you will get a bunch of profiles on the low gain area, from clean to crunch I’d say.

As ToneCrate recommended I have added in the Electro Harmonix Soul Food overdrive. For those of you who don’t know about the Soul Food it’s practically a clone of the Klon Centaur – that means transparent overdrive. And what’s that? Well, I’d say it takes what you got soundwise and boosts that without too much coloration. It doesn’t mess around too much with EQ.

And that’s about it, hope you liked the video! Feel free to support my channel by a subscription… we’re closing in on 2000 sub’s, once that is reached there will be a (pedal) giveaway to celebrate. Thank you goes out to all the already subscribers!!
