Just a cover of Motörheads Ace of Spades, that’s it. No claims that this would in any way be better than the original, it’s just a tribute that I recorded with sorrow in my heart just a couple of days after Lemmy left us. For me, Motörhead peaked with Overkill, Bomber, Ace of Spades and Overkill – it’s just the golden era for me. Loved’em from the first day I heard them and still do.
Recorded and mixed at The Shrine of Distortion studio.

The fun never ends – Have Guitar takes a closer look at Guidorist’s rig pack Martial Brit 800 for the Kemper Profiling Amp, based on a Marshall JCM 800 2203. If you’re looking for a good Marshall pack, this could be it! This pack contains 15 profiles and in this video I showcase all of them, played on my ESP Phoenix II – plus I added a couple of examples where I play a lead using these profiles, to a backing track. If you like what you hear, they’re definitely worth the buy!
…and again, if you like what you hear and see in this video – subscribe to Have Guitar! I add at least one new video every week to the channel.

Allright, so here’s a Have Guitar-video on the topic of the built-in effects in the Kemper Prodiling Amp. It’s very basic, just to get you going, kinda like a start/tutorial video. But, also included is a section on how to connect an external stompbox through the Kempers effect loop.
More info on how & why effects loop should be used:

Have Guitar presents: a Rig Showcase of a great Kemper rig pack from Michael Britt – the Driftwood Mini Nightmare – whatta pack! This amp is a killer! Or maybe that should be rephrased to this amp has a killer sound, these Kemper profiles from Mbritt totally blew me away the first time I tried them – the tone, the sustain, the fatness and that angry but still lovely sounding gain… it’s impossible not to smile while playing these profiles! I hope you’ll enjoy it just as much as I have!!
The original Driftwood MiniNightmare amplifier comes as 45W 6L6 or 22W 6V6 (now I suppose that is like an option within the same amp, not two different versions of the MiniNightmare!). It has two channels with controls for gain, bass, mid, treble and volume. I’ll just quote from Driftwoods own information on their website:
“With the Gain switch on HIGH you will be blown away. More Gain, a little more compression and with a more modern tuning, this channel will burn the house down with fat rhythms, screaming leads and razor-sharp staccatos! Always on point, even with a lot of Gain and Bass. Chords stay crystal clear—and with the Volume knob clean sounds are possible even with this setting. Thanks to the efficient EQ you will achieve a high quality sound from ‘80s hair metal to modern core and djent.”
Have Guitar presents a short video on the new way to upgrade the Kemper OS through Rig Manager version 1.6. Way easier than before but it do take a computer with an Internet connection to do it (in this video I’m upgrading the Kemper Profiling Amp from 4.0.6 to 4.2.2. via Kemper’s Rig Manager).

So, time for another unboxing video from Have Guitar! Been looking for a looper for a good while now and today I bought a BOSS RC-30 Dual Track Looper. I really don’t know if I will have any real use for it but hey, NGD is a good day, right? With that said, this is just an unboxing video and I doubt I will be making any review of this one . there must be like 500 video reviews of this stomp looper out there allready…
Still some issues with sound repeating at cuts, tried a load of different tips to get rid of it but to no avail… I hope to have managed that til the next video, sorry. (Update: was a bug in Corel Video Studio X9, fixed by a patch now but it took too long to get that patch out, so I now run on Magix Movie Studio Platinum 14).

So, here is the unboxing video of the new camera I got, the Sony FDR-AX100… and that’s it, examples will be up shortly but I can allready tell ya: yes. There is a major difference to the better in video quality. And even with the built-in mic it sounds way better than my previous attempts, so when using it with the Sony XLR-K2M… even better is my hope.
