Kemper Rig Showcase: Mattfigs Buddy and Camerica

(Sorry the planned video for ReampZones Bogner Uberschall Twin Jet had to be cancelled due to technical problems… working on solving that!)

Have Guitar is twice as happy as usual to be able to present to you – double feature Kemper Rig Showcase: Mattfigs Buddy and Camerica profile packs!

The Buddy profile pack is based on the Salvation Mods MTS Preamp Buddy – inspired by the american amplifier Budda® Superdrive 60 “with a unique vintage/modern feeling and very expressive voicings” according to the information on their website. To me it sounds like a more vintage style amp and it has some really good tones in it.

The Camerica profile back is based on Salvation Mods MTS preamp Camerica – inspired by the Cameron® Atomica amp (famous variation of Jose circuit), descibed as “High gain amp on HI mode, on LO mode hotrodded plexi with unique saturation”. This pack has some seriously good profiles and it sounds more “modern” than the Buddy.

Kemper Rig Showcase: Live Ready Profiles – Fried Chicken HBE

Have Guitar ostentatiously presents a new Kemper Rig Showcase – Live Ready Profiles Fried Chicken HBE profile pack! Now that name might give you a hint of what amplifier that has been profiled – it’s the Friedman BE-100 (brown eye!).

(As said in the video) Live Ready Profiles is a relatively new profiler that according to me needs some attention, when I got this pack was pleasantly surprised by both variety and quality of the profiles. So, even if I recently did another Kemper Rig Showcase on Mattfigs BE100, I still felt this had to be done.

On Friedmans webpage it’s described as “a hand-wired, 100-watt, EL34 powered, multi-channel British-style amp. By merely adjusting the gain and master volume controls, the BE100 can produce a variety of tones, seamlessly transitioning from blues to classic rock or hard rock to metal. To say it is British-styled is just the start of describing this inspiring tone machine”.

It’s a tone beast and I think anyone would be happy to own this amp however we can’t all afford it… and that’s what makes the KPA so fantastic!

Kemper Rig Showcase: ReampZones Framus Dragon (revisited!)

Have Guitar is boldly revisiting the dragons den in this (bonus!) Kemper Rig Showcase – ReampZones Framus Dragon rig pack!

ReampZone is about to update their Framous Dragon rig pack and Have Guitar! got a chance of testing out a preview pack of that update. It’s fat, it’s wicked and it screams… viciously. Very mean and very metal, if you ask me – or just have look at this Rig Showcase and judge for yourself.

Just wanted to say; the video starts out a bit dark but it gets better. Had some problems with my low quality light setup but no more! I recieved my new lighting kit today and it works really well so that will most likely cure any problems like this in the future, it’s getting better.

And don’t forget – Fret Nut… Have Guitar!

Kemper Rig Showcase: ReampZone Randall RD 20

Have Guitar heavily presents ReampZones Randall RD 20 – a Rig Showcase for the wicked! In this pack you’ll get both clean and hi-gain profiles and also both direct and studio profiles. This profile pack contains some seriously sweet profiles, profiles that has That tone – the one that just keeps you playing ’til your fingers bleed.

It’s all there and while this amp is mainly directed to metal heads I really do believe others can enjoy it as well. Have look and a listen to my rig showcase and judge for yourself!

Have Guitar! is really proud to give you a Kemper rig showcase of Mattfigs BE100 pack – a Kemper profile pack that recreates the sound of an amplifier you won’t see everyday – the Friedman BE100. The Friedman BE-100 is quite expensive so getting this pack from Mattfig could save you some dimes…

This pack will give you both Direct profiles as well as Studio profiles, from clean ones to high gain and the tonal variation between the profiles means you will get big bunch of sounds right at your fingertips.

The original Friedman BE-100 amplifier is a hand-wired, 3-channel 100 W head, used by artists like Foo Fighters and Alice in Chains. It’s made in the USA – have a look at Friedmans web page for more information on this amp!

Guitars used:
ESP Eclipse (Dimarzio Norton)

Rig Showcase: ReampZones Orange TH30 (Modded)

Have Guitar is proud to present ReampZones Orange TH30 (Modded) profile pack for the Kemper Profiling Amp! This is one rockin’ good profile pack for yer Kemper – it would definitely get a place on my Top-10 rig pack for the KPA! So, as the name suggests this is not a standard Orange TH30, it has been modified to sound even better than the original amp does and that also makes this rig pack unique.

This is a pack that is flexible when it comes to the sounds it can produce, I think it could be used for any genre really. The Orange has a great tone and sustain and even the more high gain profiles have a fantastic string separation. OK, so enough, you got it – I really do dig this rig pack from ReampZone… the pack includes direct profile (23), merged profiles (35) and studio profiles (30).

Guitars used in this Rig Showcase:
Gibson SG Standard 2016 High Performance, Fender Stratocaster American Standard 2014 (Shawbucker) and Harley Benton TE70 Black Paisley (Fender Texas Specials).

Hope you’ll like the video – if you do, please subscribe to support Have Guitar! Thanks for watching and thanks to all of you who allready subscribe – you’re the best!

Have Guitar is very pleased to present the first Kemper Rig Showcase based on a pack from SinMix: SplanPM Pack! A sweet bunch of Kemper profiles based on a Splawn Pro Mod amplifier – 51 profiles so heavy it should be a crime not get this rig pack. I’m pretty sure SinMix aims this pack for metal players, but hey there’s more to it than metal if I can have my say. Just listen (and feel free to watch it at the same time) to the examples in this video… some really nice sounds right there!

This pack will be tested with the following guitars: Fender American Standard Stratocaster (HSS, with a Shawbucker), Harley Benton TE70 Black Paisley (with Fender Texas Specials) and the ESP Phoenix II. Rig Showcase: Tonehammer – S.P.A.W.N. Quick Shot

Have Guitar is happy to present a new Kemper Rig Showcase – Tonehammers S.P.A.W.N. Quick Shot! That is 24 merged Kemper profiles from a Splawn Quick Rod amplifier and in this video you will get a good selection of these demoed!

The Splawn amplifiers are handbuilt in Dallas and sound beautiful, think of a hot rodded Marshall and you are at least half way there. The Splawn Quick Rod has even three ‘gears’ named Hot Rod Plexi, Hot Rod 800 and Super Hot Rod 800 – for the profiles I do believe those gears are represented by A, B and C… but there’s unfortunately no exact info from Tonehammer on that but that seems fesible enough. So, what more to say about this pack?

I think it sounds super and that goes for most of the profiles in this pack. But go ahead and listen for yourself; this selection will be varied in gain and both recorded lined and live ion the room plus some soloing to backing tracks, to give a feel of how they can sound in the mix.

I hope you liked the video and if you do feel free to subscribe to Have Guitar. You know that subscribe button… just click that and Have Guitar will be eternally grateful for your support. And as always – a big thanks to all of you who already subscribe!

Kemper profile: Mbritt’s Belchy Bomb

Have Guitar zooms in on one particular Kemper profile – the Belchy Bomb 50 2 from Mbritt. This is one heck of a profile that I often return to because … it sounds great! And this video is all about that one profile from Mbritt.

This profile is taken from a Bletchley Bomber 50, which should resemble something like a Marshall JMP.

I’ll showcase the Belchy Bomb 50 2 with five different guitars: Gibson Les Paul, Gibson Standard High Performance, Stratocaster American Standard Stratocaster, Harley Benton TE70 Black Paisley and the ESP Phoenix II.

Like this video? There’s more from where that came so feel free to subscribe to Have Guitar! As always a Big Thanks to all of you who already done that!
