Mastodon in the studio

Mastodon is another one of those bands I’ve been aware of (for many years!) but just recently started listening to – and they are a great band if you like the heavier side of music. Anyways, here’s a little video of them in the studio that I stumbled across on Youtube:

Well, if you haven’t heard Greta Van Fleet by now it time you did. Yeah, sure they might sound a lot like Zeppelin but I gotta hand it to these guys; they sure can rock… so this here we go, Greta van Fleet live and kicking:

Music tip of week

Well, it’s not like I publish a music tip every week but here’s a Swedish song from Jan Martinsson – “Hej min vän”. It has a good retro groove and… have listen yourself! 🙂

Music Tip: Robert Pehrsson’s Humbucker – Haunt My Mind

Might be an odd name for a band – Robert Pehrsson’s Humbucker – but they are one of my favourite new Swedish bands. They could easily have been on my Christmas Countdown but well, now I present them in this way instead:

Yeah, I know… some big youtubers get more than that for one video. For me this a big number, so lets celebrate the occasion with a really good song by Rare Earth – I just wanna celebrate. Cheesy perhaps but it’s still a stompin’ good song and I’m happy for the 250K views! Thanks to all of you who have been watching my vid’s – there’s more to come!

Video tip: Billy Gibbons meets Les Paul

Well, I thought this is a video too cool not to share! Billy Gibbons is one of my favourite guitarists, especially on those classic ZZ Top albums from the 70’s. And Les Paul, well he is a legend. If you haven’t read about Les Paul you should, he was a genius. Would have loved seeing Billy rip it up with some classic ZZ Top tune but it’s still something worth seeing…
