Pedal Frenzy! Neunaber Immerse Reverberator

Have Guitar! is happy to present to you the stomp of the month, the pedal frenzy of Neunaber Immerse Reverberator! This pedal is designed to give you the best of the reverbs from the Neunaber Expanse and there’s some very nice reverbs coming out from this lil’ box. You will get no less than eight effects here: Wet, Hall, Plate, Spring, two “Shimmers”, wet+echo and wet+detune – where the last one is like a really sweet chrous effect.

(And Yes! I did add stills of the pedal eventhough I said wouldn’t… )

The Neunaber Immerse will give you a host great sounding reverb effects and as seen above you will get a delay and a chorus effect to add to that. The pedal has also tow additional switches; Kill Dry (where you only will hear the wet signal, the reverb so to speak) and Trails (where activated the reverb continues when you turn off the pedal). All in all – good sounding reverbs, a couple of extra effects and many many option to tweak the sound that you are after. Now… hit play on that video!

Kemper Rig Showcase – Mattfig’s SuperClean & Mr. Boga

Passed 400 subscribers – that calls for a bonus video! This Rig Showcase was due about 2 weeks from now but hey, gotta show my appriciation right? Thanks for subs!!

Have Guitar is twice as happy to be able to present a double feature Kemper Rig Showcase on Mattfig’s JF SuperClean and Mr. Boga! These Kemper profile packs couldn’t be further away from eachother…

The SuperClean is a profile pack that certainly lives up to its name – super clean sounds, I first thought these rigs had to come from a Fender amp but they are done using a Jaded Faith SuperClean preamp! Profiles configured for both single-coils and humbuckers included.

So the Mr. Boga is the opposite – high gain happiness from a Laboga hot-rodded amp. You want fat and juice tones? Then take a listen to these rigs from Mattfig!

I hope you’ll like this video and please do subscribe if you do! Every sub counts!! Thanks to all old and new followers, it’s so appriciated I’m about to explode… as I’m writing this the 400 is closing in, amazing! Thanks again!

Windows 10 Creators Update problems and issues

So, when I went out to the studio today to try some new profiles with my Kemper, a most unwelcome message rolled up on my screen. Something like:

“Hi. Your PC is being improved be patient until the update is done”.

Reboot.

Havoc.

The looks of Windows 10 was changed. My classic shell start menu had to be reconfigured. The systray clock was black. When I started Reaper my VST plugins told me the computer id had changed and they wanted me to re-register the computer. What the heck?! And if that was bad the worst part was that all my IN’s on my Focusrite Saffire 6i6 (2nd gen) was dead. None of them worked and first I thought I had accidently pressed some button on the Kemper but, it worked fine when I hooked it up directly to my active studio monitors.

Windows 10 Creators Update. We must learn to kill it on sight or so it seems at least. So if you’re unlucky like me, fret nu – Have Guitar have the solution for you – roll back that blasphemy!

Added a video that will show you (text description below the video):

Here’s how-to:

Start Menu, Next then click on Settings (PC settings if you run classic shell like me)
Click on Update & Security
In the left menu, click on Recovery
Click on Go back to an earlier build (note: seems to have 10 days to do this so don’t wait!)
Then just follow the on screen instructions and don’t take any heed to the warnings that windows pops up!

Well, there you have it. Works also if you get some other updates that ruins things fot you. I hope someone else will have use for this!

Friday Fun – Unboxing the Neunaber Immerse

Have Guitar! presents a fast n fun Friday video – the unboxing of a Neunaber Immerse. Yes, this is just me babbling away for 10 minutes while unboxing the stomp box – if you think that sounds boring then go and pick another video. (But make sure you pick one from Have Guitar, OK?!)

The test / review will come later, I need some time to test out and get to know this reverb pedal before I do a video about it.

Thanks for watching Have Guitar, hope you like it! Please do support me by subscribing or a leprechaun gets crushed under a tree somewhere. Thanks to all of you subscribing already, you’re leprechaun heros all of you!

Kemper Bass Rig Showcase – Live Ready Sounds Traced Bass ELL Starter Pack

Here’s a premiere one for you – the First Kemper Bass Rig Showcase featuring the Traced Bass ELL Starter Pack from Live Ready Sounds. In this pack you will get 28 profiles taken from a Trace Eliot GP7 and according to Live Ready Sounds, more are coming.

This pack contains both Studio and Direct profiles and gives you many different settings from the amp. The nice thing about the Direct profiles is that they are very usable as they, they actually sound great even without a cab added. The rig pack captures that powerful sound from the Trace Eliot amp really well and it’s well worth checking out!

Five Facts you didn’t know about the GIbson SG

Here’s the last bonus video from Have Guitar! – all part of the one year jubilee, it’s been one year since I published the first Kemper Rig Showcase here at Have guitar!

Five facts that you don’t know about the Gibson SG. Or do you? That’s a really silly click-bait title! Maybe you have some even better facts? Show them in the comments if that’s the case! So this is the first video I publish that contains only facts in this way…

Hope you like the video and if you do please subscribe to Have Guitar for more guitar related videos! There’s a new video out every thursday!

Rig Manager 2.1.18 (Beta) is available!

Yes, some fixes in the new beta of Rig Manager, you can them below… I’m usually a bit more careful about new betas for the Kemper OS than what I am for these Rig Manager betas. Don’t know why though. Anyways, I have updated my Rig Manager and so far (=playing for about 2 hours) no problems.

Oh, that’s right I think you need to update to beta versions through Rig Manager (well, I can’t see the beta on Kempers webpage!) so if you haven’t:

Goto File->Preferences and check the box titled “Include Beta Test Releases”. Then click OK to close that window and go to “Help” and choose “Check for Software Updates”. Note: even if I’m careless I do not take responsibility for your installation of beta versions. And that was my disclaimer.

Features and changes in this version (2.1.18):

– Fixed: wrong author name when creating new performance
– Fixed: sync indicator shown forever after sorting rig list (Windows only)
– Fixed: wrong Tempo Enable display when selecting multiple performances (Windows only)
– Improved: handling of blocked Profiler communication (macOS 10.13 High Sierra only)
– Improved: error handling in automatic software update

Line 6 Helix Native – All the… no, wait… some of the Presets!

The one year jubilee continues with more bonus videos, here’s the last Helix Native video I managed to squeeze in before the trial ended!

Here’s a crazy video series where Have Guitar demo’s ALL the presets … no, wait… is there another folder? Lets see… Factory2. Oh, 128 additional presets. Curtains down!

Yes, so I missed out on that. It was only an additional 128 presets of the Line 6 Helix Native. No big deal. Besides I had less than two days left on the trial version when I discovered that! So, this is the last video I could do – my fav’s from the Factory2 folder. Sorry for this miss from my side…

So a software version of the Line Helix? Yeah, isn’t that great! What if we could have at least a sound editor like this for the Kemper? Dream on… but meanwhile you can have listen to the Helix at least. And if you like what you hear you can try it out too! Just download it and register at Line 6 and you’ll get a 15-day-trial with the Helix Native.

Hope you liked the video! If so please support Have Guitars effort to bring fun guitar-related videos to quaff boredom by subscribing to channel. A big thanks as always to all of you already subscribing!

Line 6 Helix Native – All the presets (4 of … 5!)

Here’s a crazy (bonus!) video series where Have Guitar demo’s ALL the Factory1 presets from in Line 6’s new VST plugin, Helix Native. This is part four of four, containing presets 97 – 128 of Helix Natives Factory1 presets.

So… a correction needs to be done. First I thought there was 32 presets, “Makes a nice video” was my first thought. Then I realized it was 32 x 4 = 128 presets. Pfew… but I’ll make that happend anyways. And then – I noticed there was another folder – Factory2 – with 128 more preset. 256 presets all in all. And that I discovered two days before the trial version runs out!! So I had to compromise, there will be a fifth video with 32 demos from Factory2. Sorry but that’s the best I could come up with due to the time limit.

So a software version of the Line Helix? Yeah, isn’t that great! What if we could have at least a sound editor like this for the Kemper? Dream on… but meanwhile you can have listen to the Helix at least. And if you like what you hear you can try it out too!
